Tangled Up in Blue is Yale's premier American folk singing group. TUIB (pronounced twihb) has repertoire that ranges from the bluegrass tunes of the Appalachians to traditional Irish ballads, the folk-rock hits of Bob Dylan and contemporary jams of Brandi Carlisle to the country-rock hits of Beyonce and Jerry Reed. We sing four-part folk harmonies and accompany ourselves on guitar, banjo, fiddle, viola, mandolin, and harmonica. Their on-campus shows are always a blast (and jam-packed)!
