Join the Band, Heal the Universe

with Natalie Meadors

Healing Force derives its name from the 1969 Albert Ayler jazz album, Music is the Healing Force of the Universe. All of us here, and we expect you, have experienced various levels of healing through the vibrations of music, and we hope to give our children the tools and experience to bring healing to their own lives and those around them through the force of music.

Our summer session of Join the Band, Heal the Universe is now running from July 6-August 25. Enrollment for our fall session will open soon, including an offering for 6-8 year olds - stay tuned.

Join the Band, Heal the Universe:

September-November fall season is open for Enrollment!

0-2 years baby band class: $165/month (45 min)

3-5 years baby band class: $165/month (45 min)

NEW! 5-8 years band class: $200/month (60 min)

Bring your kids 0-8 into the Universe of Healing Force! Your little dippers will be surrounded by a variety of instruments that will inspire a deeper exploration of music through familiar songs, both old and new.

Nestled in a cozy living room setting, kids 0-8 years old are introduced to all traditional rock band instrumentation and experience collaboration with their teacher and local musician, Natalie Meadors of Valley Queen.

Parents come to baby class and play along to help introduce collaboration to their kids with fun games, singalongs, and movement. 3-5 year old kids learn to play amongst themselves with the guidance of a professional musician!

Every 3-5 year old little one is assigned an instrument in the band (drums, bass, guitar, vocals) and will learn a song (that we collectively choose) over the course of the winter/spring/summer or fall sessions.

5-8 year classes receive slightly more advanced attention to their instruments, moving further than basic concepts of 3-5 year beginners.

In addition to song based learning, the kids get a taste of all the instruments, as well as artistic activities that reinforce musical concepts as they are learned.

We meet once a week every Saturday (or Sunday), culminating with a concert at the end of our season to show our friends and family our progress!
