Tyler Ballgame was releasing music to crickets back in Rhode Island til he worked up the courage to move to LA. Upon his move, Ballgame played every open mic and backyard gig until Jonathan Rado of Foxygen caught an ig story performance and reached out. The two started making a record with collaborators Ryan Pollie, Wayne Whiteaker, and Amy Eileen Wood. The record became the debut Ballgame album - live to tape. Gal Musette is a singer-songwriter from So Cal whose melody-driven indie-folk songs combine the spirit of French chanson from the early 1900’s with a folk flare. At age 14, inspired by The Magnetic Fields’ triple album 69 Love Songs, Gal recorded her own collection titled 70 Love Songs, which caught the attention of the band, and won her an opening slot on their Midwestern U.S. tour dates.
