Cruise Control are a Portland based band playing heartfelt and hooky tunes influenced as much by the twang of country as by 60s/70s rock and power pop. Starting off as a trio, Izzy Dupuis, Lee Butterfield and Penny Olives wrote and recorded their first set of songs at home before picking up Tim Daylight to complete the lineup, honing their songwriting and live set along the way. On their new LP Time Is An Angel, the band maintains a timeless feel while also expanding upon their sound and arrangements. Following the album release, Cruise Control will be hitting the highway with a long stretch of regional and national touring in the coming year, bringing their music to dive bars, DIY venues and everywhere in between.
