Lila Forde + Friends are SOUL'D OUT on a Two Step Tuesday night at Club Tee Gee in Atwater Village.

Forde is one of a kind with a voice like honey and an “Americana soul” sound that blends jazz, R&B, and folk and bridges past and present with refreshing ease. The Seattle-born singer/songwriter's album VESSEL is a confident, cathartic coming-of-age record that channels spiritual clarity and self-trust via her genre-fluid artistry. Raised in a creative, meditative household without television, Forde grew up steeped in harmony and improvisation, inspired by Bonnie Raitt, Carole King, and Ella Fitzgerald. Fun fact: Lila reached the Top 5 on The Voice under John Legend’s mentorship in 2023.
