Jack Fister is a country singer, songwriter, picker, and honky-tonk bandleader from St. Louis, now based in Austin. After years in punk bands, hitchhiking, busking, and touring, he found his voice in country music’s storytelling tradition. Following rehab and sobriety in 2023, he formed Jack Fister’s Wildlife, becoming a staple of Austin’s honky-tonk scene. His debut “Watershed” reflects resilience, recovery, and rural Texas life.
