Skyway Man is the brainchild of singer, songwriter, and producer James Wallace, who also leads the Nashville-based folk-rock ensemble James Wallace & the Naked Light. Employing an idiosyncratic blend of cosmic country, dusty boogie rock, gospel-folk, and blues, Wallace's first outing under the Skyway Man moniker, Seen Comin' from a Mighty Eye, arrived in 2017, followed in 2020 by the heady psych-folk opera World Only Ends When You Die and 2023's inward-looking concept effort Flight of the Long Distance Healer.
