Tucson, AZ-based experimental project Ruehlen/Trejo Duo will be on their latest west coast tour in January '25. Their newest "hexagonal" work is a performance of expanded, chimeric instruments focusing on slowly unfolding harmonic variations, alternative tunings, textural noise, and devotion that are topological in form more than linear. Ruehlen will be utilizing his latest hand-made sound object, a "7-point drone'" of resonating and modulated strings and bass clarinet, while Trejo works with a combination of bowed objects, lap steel, alto clarinet, percussion, and voice.
They'll be joined by MESH, Cassia Streb, and Tim Feeney.
Join us for a night of free form psychogeographical sound.
