Phoggy Jeph Presents: Lennon X and Mal Not Bad

Mal Not Bad, the solo project of Los Angeles-based artist Mal Hauser, is an emerging presence in the indie music scene. Their debut album, This Is Your New Life, released in August 2024, explores themes of grief, growth, and self-discovery through a blend of indie, R&B, and experimental sounds.

Mal's musical journey includes collaborations with artists such as Mk.gee, NoSo, and Skullcrusher, and they have taken on roles like co-directing their own music videos and self-producing their work.

Lennon X is a musician based in Los Angeles, known for his indie rock sound. His debut album, Glosser, was released in 2021 and features tracks like "Big River" and "Sharks on Laurel." The album was primarily written during his travels along California's I-5, with recording sessions spanning from Placerville to Santa Cruz to Los Angeles.
