Laena Myers, Donald Beaman, Michael Tapscott

Laena Myers’ experimental punk background of guitar-based songwriting merges with violinist roots as well as a love for singing ballads, leading to a depth of emotion that cuts to the heart of even the most hardened. Released this Spring '24, her 11-track debut LP LUV (Songs of Yesterday) was well-received, with critical acclaim from print publications such as Mojo Magazine- "Myers' solo debut feels full to the brim, with experience, ideas and detached cool", as well as UNCUT, "The title track is a dreamy, instrumental swirl. Look hard at the bruised introversion and melodies bleed through.. while the gorgeous 'Give Em Hell' has power, resilience and a country song's attitude to starting over.” Live, Laena plays with various accompaniment but most often as a two-piece featuring guitarist Cole Berliner.
