Olivia Kaplan is an LA-based musician whose work delves into the connections between grief, time, and memory. Her debut LP, Tonight Turns To Nothing (2021) on Topshelf Records, was met with critical acclaim. Olivia has toured North America with Billie Marten and performed with artists like The War on Drugs and Courtney Marie Andrews. A McGill and UCLA alum, her sound echoes influences such as Cowboy Junkies, Sheryl Crow, and Cat Power.
Fashion Club is the alias of Los Angeles artist Pascal Stevenson, born from her experiences touring with Moaning. Her self-produced second album, A Love You Cannot Shake (out October 25, 2024), immerses listeners in a dazzling interplay of synths, strings, and distorted guitars. The record explores the tension between the allure and discomfort of a probing spotlight, creating a lush, transportive experience where each track shines with its own unique intensity.
Los Angeles native Will Wiesenfeld, known for his indie electronic project, has also made a mark with his ambient moniker, Geotic. Unlike his other work, Geotic focuses on "passive listening," blending field recordings, pianos, guitars, and light distortion into warm, reflective soundscapes. Debuting in 2008, Geotic's notable releases include Gentle Breeze and Winter Loops. After a hiatus for projects like Obsidian, Wiesenfeld revived Geotic with Eon Isle and continued with ambient works like Abysma and Traversa.
