Francis Frances is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter masquerading as Michael Birnbryer-Lao (Mr. B), a mild-mannered Pasadena music teacher and saxophone-wielding sideman. His second EP, & Sons, releases on April 3rd and features an homage to lineage and legacy, a compilation of original music written by FF and featuring him on all instruments and vocals, with the generous support of the Pope of Dope on drums and JP for Love on bass.

This debut show marks a very welcome integration of Francis Frances into the public realm. FF will be accompanied by a very fine and full band of friends, ready to spread warm delight at the illustrious Healing Force of the Universe.

Mundia, Harvey, and Best is a Los Angeles–based band formed from over a decade of friendship and musical collaboration. The three first met within the New York City music scene and, years later, reconnected on the West Coast. What began as casual gatherings to sing together and share songs quickly revealed a natural chemistry.

Their live show, structured as a round-robin of songs from each songwriter’s catalog, moves fluidly between voices as the others accompany, harmonize, and reinterpret each other’s material.
