Northern California songwriter Donald Beaman has released five albums since 2015, performing solo and with a backing band alongside artists including Jonathan Richman, Sharon Van Etten, Mdou Moctar, and Marisa Anderson. Previously a member of NYC band The Double, he released records on Matador and toured with acts including Feist, Interpol, M83, and The Black Keys. His latest album, Fog On Mirror Glass (2024), was praised by MOJO as “the dictionary of less is more.”

San Antonio songwriter Bill Baird has spent decades making adventurous independent music inspired by artists like Arthur Russell, Daniel Johnston, and Roky Erickson. His projects have included Sound Team, signed to Capitol and Parlophone, and numerous solo releases on labels including Dangerbird and Moon Glyph. He has recorded at Abbey Road, produced records for Generationals and Garrett T Capps, and is currently preparing a new album.

Plum is an LA-based psych-folk band making sentimental, tape-warped songs about relationships between lovers, friends, siblings, and the larger fractures that shape how people stay together or come apart. Their debut LP, Together, moves from the personal to the societal, using rain, rivers, grain, sky, and other natural imagery to trace the bonds between people and the forces that pull at them.
