Arielle Estoria: The Art of Unfolding

Arielle Estoria releases her first full-length spoken word album, The Art of Unfolding, on August 16th, with a celebration on September 20 at Healing Force of the Universe in Pasadena. The event features readings from poets Yazmin Monét Watkins and Yesika Salgado, and music by Lauren Evans. Estoria is known for her empowering words that inspire confidence, compassion, and self-love.

Yazmin Monét Watkins is a poet, comedian, and activist whose work explores race, gender, and self-love. A Posse scholar and Dickinson College graduate, she has appeared on NBC’s Grand Crew and Comedy Central, and co-chairs the Arts & Culture committee for Black Lives Matter Los Angeles.

Yesika Salgado, a poet and co-founder of Chingona Fire, began her career under the name Yesika Starr. Her poetry, which addresses identity and social issues, has garnered a significant following through live performances and social media.

Lauren Evans, born February 3, 1981, is a platinum-selling singer and songwriter. She has written hits for Alexandra Burke, Monrose, Jordin Sparks, and Camila, earning five platinum and two gold certifications. Evans has contributed to Disney Channel projects, 4KidsTV's Bratz, and collaborated with artists like Yolanda Adams and Chaka Khan. Her song "One Step at a Time" for Jordin Sparks achieved Top 20 success globally, and Burke’s "Bad Boys" topped the UK charts.
