Every song on It Is Cyclical, Missing You was recorded live, each song in one continuous take, often with a full band in tow, produced by Talmers herself. Lily Talmers has seen praise from NPR, No Depression, Under The Radar, and The Bluegrass Situation among others. She won the Kerrville Folk Festival's 2024 New Folk Competition and has opened for the likes of Tommy Emmanuel, The Brother Brothers, and Anna Tivel.

Julianna Zachariou Album Release Show, Lucky Kilmartin
Profiled recently on KPBS about her freshly-minted 5 million streams for Subway Song, Julianna Zachariou is known for her mission to queer the American songbook. A Sacramento transplant by way of Nashville and San Diego, her fans and collaborators include Madison Cunningham, Caroline Kingsbury, and Ny Oh.
Last summer, after a $32k GoFundMe campaign, Zachariou recorded her forthcoming album in rural Wales with Blondshell's Jeff Frantom, Voka Gentle's Ellie Mason, and a field full of sheep. The resulting record, Dreamer Dreamer, is a playful, dizzy, experimental-pop smorgasbord. Somewhere between Neil Young, Alison Krauss, with a little Demis Roussos for good measure, Zachariou's DIY aesthetics shine through. On One Punch, Zachariou holds court with a breathless 5/4 time signature, on the circular Digital Paper, pots and pans replace drums.
Zachariou is joined by Lucky Kilmartin.

Claire Holley Record Release Party
Born and raised in the American South, Claire Holley grew up listening to her Dad’s classical (and country) records and soaking up her grandmother’s jazz piano playing. She began writing songs in college, and thanks to the support of WUNC and a generous producer, stumbled into a career of music. Her self-titled debut from Yep Roc Records was featured on NPR’s Weekend Edition, and Huffington Post called Claire’s voice “achingly beautiful. Since living in Los Angeles, Claire has written music for theater productions (including the Actors Co-op in Hollywood, Westmark School in Encino, CA and Mississippi College in Clinton, MS), short and feature length films (including two recipients of the UCLA Directors Spotlight Award), and a ballet under the direction of David Keary. No Depression called Time in the Middle “one of 2015’s finest albums” and her powdercoat ep with Kristin Mooney won the 2014 MIAL “Best in Popular Music” (she’s released twelve records to date).
Her latest, WHERE I LIVED, “a collection of intimate portraits shaped by Holley’s warm vocals and sublime songcraft” according to one journalist “feels timeless.

Highland Park Sleep Collective, Photo Ops, Grandfather. (DJ)
Hellbender Vinyl Presents...
After years of producing artists like Billie Eilish, Pabllo Vittar and King Princess and touring with their bands Ima Robot and Poolside, Tim and Filip formed Highland Park Sleep Collective to add their twist to the ambient genre. Students of Eno, Lanois and Budd, the sound is rooted in friendship and adventure.
As Photo Ops, Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Terry Price creates dream pop with a tinge of folk. In his new tracks, Price captures the feeling of leaving the old behind and embracing the unknown that’s ahead, and he reflects back an impressionistic take on the space and mystery of traveling through the American West. While he continues to evolve and synthesize his own brand of pop sensibility and hymn-like lullaby, here he introduces a stripped-down, natural aesthetic that relishes limited instrumentation.

Photo Ops, Mirrorball, DA Stern
Photo Ops is the indie folk/dream pop project of L.A. singer-songwriter Terry Price, whose clear voice and intimate, nostalgic songs explore memory, transition, and the American West. Blending folk warmth with synth textures, his albums - from Pure at Heart (2020) to Burns Bright (2023) -shine with honesty, vulnerability, and melodic depth, reflecting his move from Nashville and his personal storytelling.
D.A. Stern is the indie pop project of singer/songwriter David Stern, blending ’60s pop warmth with ’80s college-rock jangle. After leading NYC’s the Sanctuaries, he moved to L.A. and released his sunny, self-produced debut Aloha Hola in 2017, later reissued by Slumberland, followed by the EP Isn’t It Obvious? featuring both originals and select covers.
Mirrorball is the Los Angeles dream-pop duo of Alexandra Johnstone and Scott Watson, crafting “gloaming indie pop” with bittersweet nostalgia. After debuting on Dangerbird Records, they teamed with producer Chris Coady for a run of singles blending cinematic psych-pop, angular guitars, and vintage pop influence. Wil Blades, Jeff Parker, Roy McCurdy
Dr. Lonnie Smith has called Wil Blades “the future,” anointing him the heir apparent to “carry on the legend and the legacy of the organ.” Blades has grown to be one of the most in-demand Hammond organ players. Blades has worked with legendary musicians including John Lee Hooker, John Scofield, Nicholas Payton, Idris Muhammad, Charlie Hunter, Bernard Purdie, Terrace Martin, Melvin Sparks, Joe Louis Walker, Karl Denson, Stanton Moore and many more.
Jeff Parker is recognized as one of contemporary music’s most versatile and innovative electric guitarists and composers. With a prolific output characterized by musical ideas of angularity and logic, he uses ideas informed by innovations and trends in both popular and experimental forms. He creates works that explore and exploit the contrary relationships between tradition and technology, improvisation and composition, the familiar and the abstract.
Roy McCurdy is a living legend. He’s toured and recorded with veritable Who’s Who of jazz greats and groups, including Kenny Burrell, Joe Williams, Sonny Clark, Jackie McLean, Betty Carter, Kenny Dorham, Bobby Timmons, Ron Carter, Bobby Hutchinson, The Count Basie Orchestra, Donald Byrd, Herbie Hancock, Coleman Hawkins, Joe Henderson, Milt Jackson, Oscar Peterson, Bud Powell, Jimmy Smith, Horace Silver, Kenny Drew, Eddie Harris, Stanley Turrentine, Hubert Laws, Charles Lloyd, Blue Mitchell, Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald + more.

Miami Beach-based singer/songwriter Rachel Goodrich's eclectic blend of vaudeville-inspired indie pop, swing-jazz and country-folk (the artist frequently describes her sound as "shake-a-billy") is made all the more singular by the vast number of instruments at her command. A musician since her single digits, Goodrich's first compositional tool was the guitar, but as the years progressed, so did the bells and whistles, culminating in an arsenal that included ukulele, spoons, mandolin, piano, kazoo, banjo and autoharp. Butch Bastard, Dixie
Butch Bastard is the moniker of Ian Murray (he/him), a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer crafting literate, emotionally resonant music. Originally hailing from Seattle and now based in Los Angeles, Murray’s work as Butch Bastard reflects a deep commitment to narrative songwriting, melodic sophistication, and a quietly defiant independence.
Dixie-the first solo effort of Father John Misty’s guitar man, Chris Dixie Darley-presents an entirely new standard. Upbeat harmony-driven rockers that are as impressive for their miusical acumen as they are for their sheer enjoyability. “Heartache”, the first single off of Dixie’s upcoming LP (due Fall 2025) is struck of frill and entirely without lull. Think NRBQ with and Brinsley Schwartz go to Bakersfield.

Two Step Tuesday: Lila Forde
Some artists find music; for Lila Forde, music found her—and it’s been calling ever since. With a voice like honey and an “Americana soul” sound blending jazz, R&B, and folk, the Seattle-born singer/songwriter bridges past and present with refreshing ease. Her debut album VESSEL is a confident, cathartic coming-of-age record that channels spiritual clarity and self-trust. Raised in a creative, meditative household without television, Forde grew up steeped in harmony and improvisation, inspired by Bonnie Raitt, Carole King, and Ella Fitzgerald. After studying jazz and gigging across Los Angeles, she reached the Top 5 on The Voice under John Legend’s mentorship—an experience that affirmed her path. Funded by a grassroots Kickstarter and recorded in just three days, VESSEL captures Forde’s emotional depth and genre-fluid artistry. “I want to be a vessel for the music,” she says. “These songs arrived for me, not from me.”
Jobi Riccio, Johanna Samuels
Sid The Cat Presents: Jobi Riccio w/ Johanna Samuels
11/18/2025 at Healing Force Of The Universe
Born and raised in Morrison, Colorado - a tourist town in the foothills outside of Denver that’s home to Red Rocks Amphitheater - Jobi Riccio grew up surrounded by music and found inspiration in artists ranging from Sheryl Crow to Joni Mitchell. Sonically, Jobi’s music exists between worlds, melding the classic craftsmanship of her songwriting with modern indie-leaning production to forge a lush, expansive sound that feels traditional and experimental all at once.
She has received significant acclaim for her songwriting, including winning the 2019 NewSong Music Competition and the 2019 Lee Villiare Scholarship from her alma mater Berklee College of Music. More recently Jobi was awarded the 2023 Newport Folk Festival John Prine Fellowship, chosen as a 2024 Luck Reunion Artist On The Rise and is nominated for the Americana Music Association's 2024 Americana Honors and Awards in the category of Emerging Artist of the Year.
Her debut album, Whiplash (out now on Yep Roc), has garnered praise from The New York Times, Billboard, NPR, and The Nashville Scene to name a few. “This is the kind of album where you leave knowing an artist better than you ever thought you could in less than 40 minutes, and learn a thing or two about yourself in the process” Says Marissa R. Moss, who named Whiplash her number one Country album of 2023 for Stereogum. Not one to be confined into any one mold, Riccio’s Whiplash introduces influences from a variety of genres, while still holding space for her love for all decades of country and americana music.

Paul Spring
Paul Spring’s new album Dumb and Free (out Nov 11, 2025) is a collection of character-driven songs inspired by his time canvassing and socializing in Stearns County, MN. Each track explores the worldview of someone he met—often politically opposed to him—shifting his songwriting from judgment to empathy. After returning to Brooklyn, he arranged the songs during an 8-month residency at Sunny’s Bar with a live band featuring Nick Hakim, Jon Nellen, Adam Brisbin, and Kevin Copeland.
Between 2022–2025, Spring released five albums, including the folk/electronic Thunderhead, orchestral River Flows Two Ways (“a singular fresh offering” —Aquarium Drunkard), and Vita Brevis, a Latin-language record inspired by hymns and the Beach Boys.
Raised in Saint Cloud, MN and now based in NYC, Spring has toured the US and Ireland, and completed two river canoe tours promoting albums. A devoted guitarist, he released J.S. Bach 12 String Transcriptions in 2021 and played Bach weekly at NYC’s Burp Castle. He was also lead singer of Holy Hive, and has worked with Post Malone, Fleet Foxes, Black Thought, and El Michels Affair. He technically won a Grammy in 2022 for a flute solo on Lecrae’s Good Lord.
